“Improved” is a yearly ritual in the car business. Each new model year brings a crop of all-new, redesigned, and “freshened” vehicles. Complete information on each one must be communicated to the sales force, including every change on every vehicle.

The first challenge is gathering accurate data from marketing and product planning, in an atmosphere where product changes can — and do — occur up to the last minute. Then there's the matter of coordinating writing, review, and production schedules for the product guides of every single vehicle — making sure everything is ready to roll when the new models hit the dealerships.
